Starting at the Coire na Ciste car park, I headed up the NW ridge beside Coire Laogh Mor to Cnap Coire na Spreidhe 1151m. Considering were almost into August, there are still some huge snow fields in Ciste Mhearad, will they survive to the up and coming winter, only time will tell, Impressive!
Once above the 1150m contour line, it was into the cloud and with a strong Westerly wind, it wasn't long before I was putting on gloves and layering up due to the wind chill, not an evening for hanging about!
Snow still hanging about in Coire Laogh Mor
